Despite its name the area is certainly not just for golfers there are some lovely holiday complexs in the area.

The local bus service will take you anywhere from Santa Cruz in the north to the golden sandy beaches of Los Cristianos and Las Americas only a few miles away in the South.
There is also a lovely fishing village Los Abrigos a short stroll away where you will get the real feel of Tenerife and some excellent fish restaurants.
